Keri, secular homeschool mom and blogger at Little Blue House Homeschool, smiling while sharing homeschool tips.

Welcome! I’m Keri—homeschool mom, curriculum researcher, and lifelong learner.

Our homeschool journey started when I realized that traditional school wasn’t the right fit for our family. I wanted a flexible, engaging, and child-centered approach that would allow my boys to learn at their own pace while keeping their love for learning alive. That’s when I dove headfirst into the world of secular homeschooling, and I’ve never looked back!

What You’ll Find Here

  • Our homeschool routines and schedules—because structure (with flexibility!) is key.

  • Curriculum reviews and recommendations—so you can find resources that actually work.

  • Encouragement and real-life homeschooling experiences—because we all need support!

Our Homeschool Philosophy

We take a flow-based, interest-led approach to homeschooling. While we follow a structured curriculum for subjects like math, reading, and writing, we also make room for curiosity-driven learning, hands-on projects, and plenty of outdoor adventures.

Why I Started This Blog

I know how overwhelming it can be to start homeschooling—especially when you’re looking for secular resources and a method that works for your unique family. My goal is to make this space a supportive, informative, and inspiring place for homeschoolers who want a flexible, practical, and joyful approach to education.

I’m so glad you’re here! Whether you’re just getting started or looking for new ideas, I’d love to connect with you.
